President Yoon Suk-yeol has subtly shared his opposition to the Democratic Party's calls for the disclosure of intelligence regarding the killing of a South Korean man by the North Korean military in the northern side of the inter-Korean sea border back in 2020.
Responding to a related question earlier on this Tuesday morning Mr. Yoon said disclosing such information was not a simple matter.
Earlier this month the Yoon administration rejected the FORMER Moon administration's claims of defection by the South Korean man which his family has denied from the start.
Separately during Tuesday's weekly Cabinet meeting the President called for prompt reform of public institutions.
He also pressed for "intensive" adjustments to government expenditures.
