With the COVID-19 situation now more or less under control, the South Korean government is looking to make the financial support it's providing to people more sustainable in terms of costs.
Starting July 11th, payments to people who miss work because they're in self-isolation will only be for people who make less than the median income.
And subsidies for companies giving their employees paid sick leave for COVID will only be for companies with fewer than 30 people.
South Korea reported 7-thousand 2-hundred-27 new cases of COVID-19 on Friday.
There were 10 more deaths, and 52 people were severely ill.
