South Korea's stock market this month is down by the most among 40 major global stock indexes.
According to the Korea Exchange, as of Sunday, market cap on the tech-heavy KOSDAQ had fallen 16 percent compared to the same time last month, which was the biggest decline of all.
The second biggest was Korea's benchmark KOSPI, which is off nearly 12 percent from a month ago.
Analysts say the decline has been led by semiconductor-related stocks, with the price of chips expected to fall later this year.
There were increases in some Asian markets, though, like the Shanghai Composite, which is up more than 5 percent and Hong Kong's Hang Seng index, up 1.4 percent.
