South Korean automakers Hyundai and Kia have risen back to fourth place in terms of their share of European car market rising above BMW.
The European Automobile Manufacturers' Association says their share last year was eight.seven percent, a record high.
They sold more than one million cars in Europe last year, up more than 21 percent from the year before.
This despite a one-and-a-half percent contraction in European vehicle sales overall.
Among their best-selling models were the Hyundai Tucson and the Kia Ceed.
The best-selling eco-friendly models was the Kia Niro.
