The U.S. has "no reservation" regarding dialogue with North Korea, reiterating its openness to talk with the regime.
U.S. Deputy Assistant Secretary of State for South Korea and Japan, Mark Lambert, made the remark Wednesday during a webinar.
Lambert added many promising things can happen for Pyeongyang if it is willing to return to denuclearization talks.
He also called Kim Jong-un a "rational player", but added that he didn't know what Kim was thinking.
