Going into the North London Derby against Arsenal on Sunday, Tottenham Hotspur's Son Heung-min had nine goals and nine assists for the 2019-2020 season.
Despite adding a couple of assists since the English Premier League returned to action last month, Son has been stuck on nine goals, having last scored against Aston Villa in February.
But with Tottenham needing a win against their arch rivals, Son found the back of the net in the 19th minute to level the match at one-one, before his 81st minute corner found the head of defender Toby Alderweireld (Ol-der-vay-reld) making it 2-1, and giving Spurs the three points.
The South Korean's goal and the assist took his personal tally to 10 goals and 10 assists this season, making it the fourth straight season, where Son has scored at least ten goals for Tottenham.
Son was also named 'Man of the Match.'
His contribution not only gave Tottenham the full three points, but also moved them up to 8th place to 52 points.
It also put them two points ahead of Arsenal.
With just three more matches left in the season, it'll take a miracle for Tottenham to punch a ticket to next year's Champions League, but Sunday's win gives them,.. at least, a glimmer of hope.
